Trap
Trap talks about people not doing what they want. It seems that if you don’t produce art constantly you are nobody, and even less if you don’t show it on social networks.
If you are not in a showcase all the time, so they can see you, you are nobody. You have to rub shoulders with people who do the same thing as you. You have to be everywhere to be seen because, if not, it seems like you are nobody. Furthermore, you have to be exposed, and your passion has to involve your whole life all the time.
Fall into the trap. Fall into the trap. Fall into the trap.
Passion for what we create is the force that fills us with energy and makes us feel complete. Everyone is good at something, and we should all find our passion in life. But there is a very fine line between passion and obsession and, if you cross it, it can become your biggest nightmare. Passion makes you a better person, but obsession ends up destroying you, it is a double-edged sword.
The story is very simple; You start doing something, you develop a love for it, and you do it more and more frequently. Over time, you start to have positive results. People praise you and recognize and reward you for it. And little by little, without realizing it, you begin to become more passionate about external validation than the passion itself. You end up tying your personal validity to results that are often beyond your own control. Being passionate, or rather, being enslaved by obtaining an external result that I cannot control, creates a volatile and fragile identity in us that is scary.
