A Coruña, Spain-based jewelry studio, Rígido, was founded by Carla Barral and Javier González. The jewels are a direct result of artisanal production and superior craftsmanship. They fuse their fundamental axes with durability and unparalleled quality within the curated selection of materials. 

Their newest collection “Experimental Drift” is an elevated extension of this forward-thinking mindset and introduces a modernized look through the injection of colors that bleed through every piece. The vibrant colors give relevance to organic shapes and amplify the energy that resides from within. 

“After a first year as unique as the one we have had to live,” they said in an Instagram post. “This collection tries to delve into the depths of traditional jewelry from its foundations, focusing on the shapes and textures.”  

The microorganisms and corals remain at the core of each piece and an irregular harmony flows throughout with the help of vibrant colors and peculiar shapes. In this innovative collection, they delve headfirst towards a more ultramodern path, claiming the cultural legacy that crafts and jewelry have in their town.  

“We have had a lot of fun creating this colorful collection, it is completely different from anything we have done so far, and that makes us happy,” the founders said.

The eminence of direct contact between the materials, artisans, and synergies is what drives the inspiration for jewels that cascade across the object-body relationship.
