Birkenstock & NY brand Proenza Schouler present this summer the second part of its collaboration with a capsule in which color experimentation become the fundamental feature.
Made of polished specchio calfskin, the collection is inspired by workwear and sports footwear. And what’s more, on this occasion, they’ve replaced the metal buckels with velcro fasteners, eventually topped with contrasting industrial stitching.
The sandals are presented in vibrant cobalt blue, rustic burgundy and neutral tones such as black and beige, as they’re planned to be used from late summer to the beginning of autumn.
Their main goal in this symbiosis was to find the perfect balance between form and functionality, which they have more than fulfilled.
The campaign was shoot by Collier Schorr & starred by the NY singer and composer King Princess, which perfectly represents the artistic individualism that defines both brands.
