RESET

RESET is the space we all deserve: a refuge where identity and freedom flourish, a starting point where we can rediscover ourselves alongside those who inspire us and begin again as many times as we need. In a world where these spaces urgently need to be essential, RESET emerges as a fundamental meeting point and connection.

The project takes the form of a choreographic video with Massimiliano Pagliara’s song as the soundtrack, starring seven queer and gay dancers: Máximo Ramírez, Nicolás Martínez, Álvaro Pérez, Borja Palacios, David Grimaldi, Miguel Arévalo, and Cristian González, who come together to embark on a journey of enjoyment and collective connection in the iconic Casabanchel space, which has become a refuge for the queer and artistic communities of Madrid, located in the Carabanchel neighborhood.

Through dance, they explore this space where it is possible to 'reset', as the lyrics of Pagliara tell us: “Reset yourself to another heart / Reboot the mind and get aboard”.

Directed and produced by choreographer Cristian González, with the collaboration of Miguel Arévalo as choreographic assistant and stylist. It features the work of Jesús P. Buján; recording and editing, Sara Fraguas; photography and creative support, and the support of Tomás Gracia, who lent his space Anandamoksha for the rehearsals.
