Orientalism? No, well maybe it could be defined as a mixture between western views on the east. But taking it just the other way around... The new editorial Middle Eastern Schnitzel shot by Alexander Kuhlencordt, and clothes worn by Kubilay Kilic led by creative and designer Youssef Hotait, embodies cultural backgrounds and social changes within ones individuality. Middle Eastern Schnitzel, a project deeply rooted autobiographically as well as emotionally to Youssef Hotait’s early years. It is the experimental view on how much the Avant-Garde can be broken down and viewed at. Reflecting the UFFF feeling that guides our heart and feelings, through our lives and decisions.
