Les Benjamins Presents Its FW25 Collection “Altaicana”
SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 → WORDS ADRIÁN GOMIS EXPÓSITO
Les Benjamins presents its FW25 collection, Altaicana, marking another bold step in its mission to merge cultural narratives with contemporary design. The collection embraces the concept of “Altai Awakening”, exploring the shared roots of Turkic, Mongolic, Korean, and Japanese traditions. Built on Aydın’s philosophy that “nature is not our inheritance from our ancestors, but a loan from our children”, Altaicana emphasizes the delicate balance between preserving ancestral stories and pushing forward progressive design. The collection draws inspiration from the Altai people’s deep connection to mythology and the natural world, blending these elements with Americana influences to create a visual dialogue that is both global and deeply rooted in tradition.
The 294-piece lineup, with 179 menswear and 114 womenswear pieces, showcases layered textures, intricate embroidery, leather detailing, and structured silhouettes that echo nomadic lifestyles. Symbolic motifs such as the Tree of Life, snow leopards, petroglyph-inspired patterns, and abstract nature-driven prints ground the collection in cultural symbolism, while earthy tones accented with vibrant hues capture the richness of the Altai Mountains. Aydın even designed the collection around imagined personas like the Eagle Hunter and Nomadic Storyteller, breathing narrative depth into each piece. With Altaicana, Les Benjamins reaffirms its position as a cultural movement as much as a fashion house, presenting a tribute that honors heritage while projecting a distinctly modern vision.
This season also marks a milestone for the brand as it unveils its first campaign created with artificial intelligence, using cutting-edge technology to expand the visual storytelling of Altaicana while maintaining the poetic dialogue between past, present, and future.
