Le Labo Introduces Shiu 25, Beijing’s New City Exclusive
SEPTEMBER 7, 2026 → WORDS ADRIÁN GOMIS EXPÓSITO

This September, Le Labo returns with another chapter of its City Exclusive collection, welcoming a new scent to its olfactory map: Shiu 25, created exclusively for Beijing.
Inspired by the brand’s new Beijing He Yuan Fragrance Lab, Shiu 25 takes its cues from a place where history and contemporary design exist in quiet dialogue. The Lab occupies a heritage-listed courtyard house in the heart of Beijing, bringing together the architectural language of traditional China with Le Labo’s distinctly minimalist sensibility. That balance of old and new becomes the foundation for a fragrance designed around stillness.

At its core, Shiu 25 centres on Shiu, an extract derived from the Ho tree and traditionally associated with a calming effect. Iris and incense introduce a delicate, almost meditative dimension, while warm woods ground the composition with a soft, understated depth. Rather than demanding attention, the fragrance unfolds slowly, intimate, composed and deliberately restrained.
Like the rest of Le Labo’s City Exclusives, the fragrance is available exclusively during September, making its arrival a fleeting addition to the brand’s ever-expanding collection of city-specific scents.

A fragrance shaped by place, memory and the art of slowing down, Shiu 25 offers Beijing not simply as a destination, but as a state of mind.
