IKINITA: Fashion for IRL Mermaids

IKINITA, the brainchild of Ibiza-based sisters India and Carla, is rewriting the codes of summer fashion with a dreamlike aesthetic tailored for modern-day mermaids. Since launching in 2023, the brand has quickly become a fixture on the island with two enchanting boutiques—one nestled in the cobbled charm of Ibiza Old Town and another along the beachside bliss of Jondal. Now, IKINITA is setting its sights on an international summer migration, opening a seasonal space at the iconic MacaKizi hotel in Bodrum, Türkiye, with plans underway for expansions into Mykonos and Dubai.

For Spring/Summer 2025, IKINITA unveils Jeu d’Enfant, a collection that taps into the playful magic of childhood and the mystique of tarot. Meaning “child’s play” in French, the collection invites wearers to explore fashion as a form of fate—each outfit like a card drawn from the deck, revealing a mood, a story, a secret self. In collaboration with artist Audrey Bertoia, hand-painted Tarot cards come to life on flowing silks, swimwear, and diaphanous layers, capturing a sense of freedom, fantasy, and transformation. IKINITA isn’t just a label—it’s an invitation to play, to believe, and to become.
