We seek to recreate a space for collective refuge where we can find strength and inspiration on a journey towards freedom. We aspire to resist revolutions, both internal and external, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment. “«Queer» could be translated as strange, eccentric, homosexual, and even spoiled or broken, but it will be from the late 1980’s onwards, with the emergence of activist groups such as ACT UP and Queer Nation in New York, when the term “queer” acquires a meaning of political identity.”
