Far From Heaven
We live in a world full of opposites, divided for centuries in a struggle between light and darkness. From the moment we are born, we grow under an imposed duality between good and evil, which marks every step we take.
THE FALLEN ANGELS. Characters presented and interpreted by countless artists and authors throughout the history of art and literature. The prodigal sons of God sent to earth as protectors. Creatures of angelic essence expelled from heaven and paradise, rebelled against God and represented as sinners. Angels sentenced under the wrath of God by crossing the boundaries between what heavenly laws considered good and evil: they played in darkness, corrupted men, created discord, fell into lust, and revealed secrets for the benefit of humanity.
They were victims of God’s wrath that punishes, judges and prohibits entry into paradise to anyone who questions his teachings and his idea of good and evil. Judged and banished for a rebellion against education and control of the soul and intellect.
This fashion editorial tries to relate the three phases lived in the experience of the fallen angel: from the expulsion from paradise, their search for identity, and the culmination of their empowerment as an individual. An ode to those fallen angels banished to wander and live in darkness, singled out by society fort heir free thought and free will, and persecuted for celebrating their power and finding their identity.
