ENIS unveils debut EP ‘E01 demo collection’ and emotional single ‘Lavender Garden’

Kurdish-Danish Alt-R&B artist ENIS has marked a significant milestone with the release of his debut EP ‘E01 demo collection’. The EP, which includes the focus single ‘Lavender Garden’, offers a deeply personal and introspective journey. Across five tracks, named If I Want To, Fadeaway, Drunk For Dinner, Floor Is Lava and Lavender Garden, ENIS courageously tackles his internal struggles, touching on themes of self-worth, familial estrangement, alcoholism, heartbreak, and homophobia. ‘E01 demo collection’ is an autobiographical body of work that works as an expression of ENIS’ singular artistry and a testament to self-actualisation.

Speaking about the EP, ENIS describes it as a metaphorical bridge leading to self-liberation. The EP follows the success of previous singles ‘Fadeaway’, ‘If I Want To’, and ‘Drunk for Dinner’, which garnered acclaim from notable publications such as GQ Turkey and NOTION.

The standout single ‘Lavender Garden’ is a testament to ENIS’ resilience and ability to find beauty amidst adversity. The song’s dreamy fusion of bedroom pop, alternative R&B, and ambient electronica is paired with the newly released visually captivating music video.
