Desigual and BOTTER launch “High Tides”
AUGUST 28, 2025 → WORDS ADRIÁN GOMIS EXPÓSITO
Desigual and BOTTER join forces to launch High Tides, a collection inspired by the sea as a symbol of unity and transformation. Designed by Lisi Herrebrugh, Rushemy Botter, and Desigual’s creative team, the garments blend BOTTER’s Caribbean roots with Desigual’s Mediterranean spirit, translating water’s fluidity into bold silhouettes, layered textures, and prints evoking liquid landscapes.
Reinterpreting Desigual’s archives through BOTTER’s avant-garde lens, High Tides explores re-creation and identity. Highlights include oversized blazers with wave-inspired panels, hybrid tops mixing technical and fluid fabrics, and jeans printed with marine sunsets. Desigual’s iconic patchwork meets BOTTER’s sculptural craftsmanship, with Arte Povera influencing raw hems, exposed seams, and fragmented finishes.
Sustainability is central, with recycled fabrics, reused plastic sequins, and certified materials shaping the collection. Designed to be gender-fluid and endlessly versatile, the pieces invite wearers to layer, reinterpret, and express themselves freely. High Tides marks a bold step forward for both brands, a meeting point of cultures, ideas, and identities, united by the sea.
