Brutalismus 3000, the Berlin-based duo behind “Satan Was A Babyboomer” and “Romantika”, have announced their highly-anticipated debut album.
Set to release on April 7 via Live From Earth, “ULTRAKUNST” follows their wildly successful remix of Yung Hurn’s “ALLEINE” and their adaptation of Grauzone’s hit single “3ISBÄR”.
The record’s lead single “DIE LIEBE KOMMT NICHT AUS BERLIN” arrives with its own music video directed by Leanne Mark and Soul Suleiman, which was released earlier this month. Primarily inspired by punk and feminist principles, the fiery duo takes their sound to the next level with poetic, thought-provoking lyrics in German, Slovak, and English. Fusing in-your-face vocals, razor-sharp kicks, and heavily-distorted bass, the 11-track album takes us on a sonic journey where gabber hallmarks are charged with avant-garde elements. In “ULTRAKUNST”, Brutalismus 3000 have become less guarded, adding rawness and aggression to produce an unapologetically boundary-pushing album.
Despite gaining immediate recognition for their performances at Boiler Room Festival and HÖR, Brutalismus 3000 is just getting started.
“ULTRAKUNST” is scheduled to arrive on April 7, 2023, from Berlin with love.
