27 87 Reveals Its Archive Edition

To mark its 10th anniversary, Barcelona-based niche fragrance house 27 87 founded by Romy Kowalewski, unveils the Archive Edition, a limited collection of seven previously unreleased perfumes developed between 2017 and 2025. More than a retrospective, the launch offers a rare glimpse into the brand’s evolving olfactory language, bringing forward compositions that were never unfinished, but simply waiting for the right moment to emerge. From the solar elegance of Flor de Tiaré to the molecular intimacy of Genetic Bliss Variation I, the collection moves through contrasting textures and atmospheres. Lavender is reinterpreted with contemporary clarity, while Gin Mare unfolds a Mediterranean freshness through aromatic sparkle. Vetiver is shaped into a modern balance of depth and elegance, Durian transforms an unexpected raw material into something daring yet refined, and Waldmeister closes the series with a delicate green sweetness drawn from a rarely used botanical.

Across the collection, familiar materials are approached from new perspectives, whether through restraint and precision or through the exploration of unusual ingredients and unexpected combinations. What unites the seven fragrances is a shared sensibility: scent as presence rather than memory. Each composition stands independently, yet together they trace an olfactory timeline, fragments of experimentation, curiosity, and instinct gathered across a decade of creation.
