Desigual Studio Fall/Winter 2025
SEPTEMBER 11, 2025 → WORDS ADRIÁN GOMIS EXPÓSITO
Desigual unveiled its new premium line, Desigual Studio, with a fashion show that elevated the brand’s creative DNA through craftsmanship, noble materials, and contemporary design. Held at the industrial-chic Nau de Turbines de les Tres Xemeneies in Barcelona, the event gathered over 500 guests, including figures from fashion, music, cinema, and culture. The collection, presented as a “Back to the Roots” concept, reinterpreted Desigual’s archives with elevated tailoring, innovative use of silks, leathers, denim, and knitwear, and iconic pieces like the Patch 1984 jacket reimagined for today. Accessories, footwear, and jewelry played a starring role, conceived as artisanal statements of style and identity.

The show attracted a global front row of celebrities and influencers, reinforcing Desigual Studio’s international vision. Stars such as Becky G, Lila Moss, Nicki Nicole, Paris Jackson, and Ester Expósito sat alongside fashion icon Edward Enninful. Their presence was complemented by notable personalities from Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Mexico, Japan, China, and Poland, highlighting the brand’s broad cultural reach and ambition to appeal to a new generation of fashion consumers.

The emotional high point came with the runway debut of Aydan Nix, the Palestinian model and younger sister of Bella and Gigi Hadid, who closed the show with a look bearing the message “Why?”. Her appearance was both a nod to her sisters’ history with Desigual and a symbolic act of protest, using fashion to call for peace and an end to human suffering. This moment echoed Desigual’s own history of using its designs for social commentary, reaffirming the brand’s identity as brave, non-conformist, and socially engaged.
Desigual Studio FW25 positions itself as a manifesto of creativity, empathy, and innovation. The collection explores dualities like the sea and mountains, the past and future, the urban and the handmade through eclectic silhouettes and premium finishes, while accessories and footwear extend its artistic narrative. With its elevated aesthetic and meaningful messaging, Desigual Studio represents both a strategic leap forward and a return to roots, solidifying the brand’s status as a global fashion house that fuses heritage with contemporary vision.
