Between Two Worlds: The Duality Of Being
I exist at the intersection of two worlds, in a constant dance of opposites. On one side – the pulsating rhythm of the metropolis, the rustle of fashion shows and the gleam of storefronts, compelling me to choose life in big cities. On the other – an insatiable longing for nature’s tranquility, for a place where I can breathe deeply.
In my most intimate dreams, I see myself far from urban bustle, somewhere high in the mountains, among untouched nature. I imagine my own farm: silent cows with deep, contemplative eyes, playful goats, unhurried chickens. A world where love requires no proof, where caring for living beings becomes the highest form of creativity.
This internal conflict has lived within me for years – an eternal struggle between structured urban space and boundless natural freedom. I seek balance, but it constantly eludes me, leaving me divided between two realities.
In this photoshoot, I want to visualize this duality through contrast: architectural, rigid, oversized clothing as a metaphor for urban constraints and conventions clashes with liberated poses filled with inner freedom. Majestic natural landscapes become the backdrop for geometric cuts, creating visual tension between the natural and artificial.
This is a story about how we can be confined within certain forms that we paradoxically choose ourselves, out of love for aesthetics, art, fashion – while simultaneously yearning for what calls to our primordial nature. About how we don’t need to choose just one thing; we can love both worlds equally.
We are not obligated to exist within the framework of a single aesthetic. Our strength lies in the ability to blend and connect, to create something new at the intersection of opposites, like yin and yang, city and nature, structure and freedom. This is the foundation of the universe – duality that doesn’t divide but unites, creating the fullness of being.
